More Fun on the Fourth

We went to our dear friends, the Keithleys, for a 4th BBQ.  

Here are some shots (Chico style a.k.a. a bunch of pictures of the same thing) of Will donning Dad's Australian kangaroo hat.

Oh the cuteness.

Lydia was a little harder to catch on camera.

This is a typical Welch attempt at a family picture.  There are about ten more pictures of this same pose, none of which include everyone smiling and/or looking at the camera.

2. standard dad pointing at the camera, mom saying, "smile, smile!"

3. dad posed and ready.  will crying. mom attending will.  me checking out what Jackson and Logan are up to.

4. This is as good as it gets for us.  three out of four looking in the general direction of the camera.

Mom also realized after viewing these that her hair is in desperate need of some highlights. She'll probably get around to it in a month or two.

4th of July! 

This is the the day when Americans everywhere can remember to say: 

"TAKE THAT, BRITS!" 

"These colors don't run" 

ect. ect.

As for me, I love the family time, little flags and fun outfits.

Mommy & I get into the excitement of things, and Will is just wondering when it's naptime again.

He only needs red & white in his outfit, as his eyes clearly provide the blue.
