Picture Perfect

I am officially 12 weeks old today, and I thought I would mark the occasion by posting my Easter pictures that were taken last week. Try not to covet. It's hard to match this cuteness.

The Discos

  • Saturday Night Feva

  • Mommy and Daddy went to a 70's party and we all got dressed up...DISCO Style
  • Everyone at my Dad's works call him 'Disco-Stu'. I suppose that now they have a reason. He's silly
  • Check out Mom's awsome hair! We can all thank Alma-ma for making her look like Fara Fawcett:)

New Cousins!!!

"Cletus-the-fetus" is out...

Baby Abby has arrived! My newest cousin, Abigail Louise Neirenberg, got here just a mere 2 weeks ago. At a whopping 4 pounds and 2 ounces, she's small but fiesty. I, on the other hand, was born at more than double that weight, so I'm pretty sure she won't be trying to take my toys for a while...(I just learned to roll over and that could be bad news for that little tyke). This kid looks as sweet as she is petite. I can't wait to meet her...maybe I'll give her some of my old hats.

I wonder how cousin Wells will take to all these sweet little ladies.

Matt, Beth, and little baby Abby :)

Proud new grandparents with me. (They'll have no trouble lifting Abby after holding me!)

Milestones

I reached many new milestones this past week:
  1. I slept in my crib at night all by myself. This was supposed to happen four weeks ago, but things got delayed because mom and dad couldn't agree on the best way to keep the cats out of my room. Then I caught a cold, and mom was too worried that I would need her during the night. What a wuss.
  2. I blew out a record number of outfits in a day.....four. Then I tied the record for the next three days in a row. Dook-o-rama. Size doesn't matter when it comes to diapers. Neither does the brand. It's all about the velocity.
  3. I finally gave up my hospital pacifier for a more asthetically pleasing variety. The only hazard is that the new one leaves marks on my face. They must not make XL cheek sizes.
  4. 4. I pushed up on my arms for the first time.
  5. 5. I met our cat, Ginger, when she politely wedged herself between me and my mommy. As you can see, I wasn't a big fan.

last week

I'm sorry for my recent leave of absence, but it is really my mom and dad's fault. They did not take the time to sit me in front of the computer. They kept insisting on tummy time and walks outside instead. So...before I share the latest and greatest, I thought I would catch you up on my week last week. First came a visit from my Almama/ Nana (once I start talking, I'll make the final decision on grandma Joseph's name) and my Papa. As you can see, my Nana is great at keeping me asleep, while my papa keeps me awake.

I started bearing weight on my legs a couple of weeks ago. I actually learned the trick during one of my angry rants. It comes in quite handy now in all sorts of ways. I can push off of things laying down or standing up.

My Nana and Papa also watched me while mom and dad went on their first date since I was born. We all got dressed up for a seventies bash, but more on that later. It may not sound like it, but it was a very big week.

My Uncle Nelsons...

Uncle Stu

Kieth & Megan Dynamite
Hey Uncle Kieth!

  • These are my Uncle Nelsons! The top is Uncle Stu Manu. He lives in New York city. I like his big red beard. The other picture is Uncle Kieth (Stu's little brother) & Miss Megan. Uncle Kieth plays the sax-a-ma-phone with my daddy, and Uncle Stu Manu plays the guitar with my daddy. Miss Megan made me some cute little hats, and my Mommy thinks they are adorable.
  • I sure do love my Uncles from NYC. I can't wait to meet the rest of them, like ecpecially their Mommy, CONSTANCE. I've heard that her voice can get even louder than mine (if that's even possible).

Shots

Sorry I've been away for a while, but I"ve had a nasty cold, and I got my 2-month vaccines all in one week. Needless to say, I've had better weeks. Those shots made me feel sick...OUCH!

I do not like that doctor-man,
and about those shots....I'm not a fan;
I did not like them in my thigh,
I did not like them wet or dry;
I did not want them in my butt,
Those shots they put me in a rut;
Mommy held me very tight,
but Daddy flew away that night;
I did not like them, Sam-I-Am
(I'm not sure if I will like ham).

THE END -LKW
