Grins and Giggles

No comments necessary....

My new best friend

As many of you know, my bunny has been my soul mate for about the last six months. I don't really remember how or when we got to be so close, but trust me, we're close.

It seemed as though we would be inseparable for life.....until Ginger and Elliott (our cats) came to live with us in California. Now, Elliott I'm not so sure about, but Ginger, well that's another story. I have an obsession with Ginger. I chase her all day long, constantly trying to grab her and hold her like my bunny so I can suck my thumb and go to sleep. Don't fret all you bunny fans out there. I still sleep with bunny and watch Einstein with bunny. I will always hold a special place in my heart for bunny. There is just something about that orange cat that gets me all giddy inside. For the past few weeks my attempts to befriend Ginger have been futile. However, she is finally warming up to the idea.

New Responsibilities

I have a total of six teeth so it's time to start brushing. I prefer mom's toothbrush to my puny one. There's also a litany of things I'm not supposed to do now. Such as.... eating the remote, eating rocks, throwing my food, ripping apart books, and pulling Ginger's tail. Hmmm, what next?

Costume Cuteness

Just when you thought I couldn't get any cuter, mom and dad drag me to the photo place in this get up. I was completely anti, but after the 33rd shot I finally caved and gave them a smile.

daddy daughter time

This is what happens when mom leaves me alone with dad. He plays bass for me. I cry. He plays guitar for me. I cry. He tries a myriad of other angles, I cry. Then finally......we sleep.

Winter White

So it appears that there is talk circulating regarding my recent blog appearance wearing white after labor day. Not ecru, not off white, not even pearl, but crisp summer white. Yes, I am aware of the startling fashion implications of such a daring and bold display. However, here is my response:

1. I'm a baby.

2. I live in California, not the south. Although my parents are well versed in southern etiquette and have imparted their knowledge to me, people around here don't seem to care. When in Rome....

3. When you grow as quickly as I do you have to work with what you've got. Mom bought white pants size 12-18 months. Although I could wait until after Easter to attempt to squeeze into them, I am 9 months old and they happen to fit me now. It's chilly. They're pants. They fit.

4. If you're still ready to slate me to the worst dressed baby list, check out what fashion giant "In Style" has to say before you cast your vote:

5. Once again, I'm a baby.
