  • BATHTIME! I just love the tub...I get water in all my rolls:)
  • Here I am with Aunt KATIE (I'm the Little Bear, in case you were wondering). She dried me off and snuggled me when I was cold.

Smiling Big Baby

Today I went to the doctor for a weight check. They needed to adjust my Zantac (I have the flux....acid reflux that is) due to my consistent and speedy weight gain. I am up to a hearty twelve pounds two ounces. Not bad for a girl a few days shy of 8 weeks. I am officially wearing size 2 diapers and size 3-6 month clothes. Just to show you that I am perfectly pleased with my fat rolls, I thought I would give mom and dad some big smiles just before our doctor visit.

Meeting Naomi

On Saturday I got to meet my betrothed best friend, Naomi Hills. The arranged friendship was a hit. We nursed at the same times, played together on Naomi's quilt, sat in our bouncy seats together, and spit up together. We even cried together, which every one seemed to really enjoy. Naomi is super sweet and coos and cries like a little angel. I didn't realize that my voice was deep and husky until I met her. She tried to teach me to coo (she is two weeks older and wiser), but it just kept coming out like grunts and snorts - my usual method of communicating. I'll keep practicing. At least, now I know what cooing sounds like. Thanks pal!

Family Firsts

  • Here are a few pics of the family...On top is all of us going to church for the first time, and the second one is all of us out in the snow together for the first time. As you can see, I slept through the snow-day, and apparently I slept though the sermon at church as well, (but my Dad said that was probably best for the entire congregation). Any-hoo, my parents sure seem to love having me around. I love them too, but they're still a close second to eating and bath-time.

  • Maybe they'll catch me smiling on camera sometime soon... :)

  • Please note that even though I cannot talk (and therefore have no way of telling her this), my Mommy instinctively knew that I would insist that my shoes match my dress in color & style. I would never have worn them otherwise (what fashon-conscious baby would?). Lucky for me, my Mom is hip to infant trends. She knows how to dress me. Dad...well, he's a work in progress.

First Snow Day

  • a> quiz question: Which Simpson do I remind you of?

My mommy and daddy wanted to take me out in the snow before it all melted. It snowed 15 inches Saturday and Sunday, but it has been too cold to go outside before today. Unfortunately for my parents, my snowsuit is so cozy that it put me right to sleep. No snow angels today, despite their incessant coaxing.

Valentine Baby

HAPPY VALENTINE's DAY!!!

13 February 2006

  • Here's a little blast from the past to remind you what I looked like back in my earlier days. It's really for comparison to the barrage of pictures that are soon to be posted of me: a)in the mountain of snow that we got this weekend, b) in my first little Valentines day outfit, & c) randomly around the house smiling (that's right, I can smile now, but I'm tough to catch on camera...just like a supermodel, except I've got more bodyfat).

  • I'm excited that Auntie Unger just got engaged. I wonder when she'll be giving us news of a little "Unger-ino" on the way. Will I still get to call her 'tha UNGERTAKER'? Probably not. I was really looking foward to that, too. Oh well. Can't wait to meet her and hers....

  • Stay tuned for more pictures of infant cuteness

Grandparents Galore

Boy, this grandparent thing is the best. They hold me all the time, change my diapers, help my mommy and daddy around the house, and even let them catch a couple extra hours of sleep. I can't imagine how my mommy and daddy would do it without them. My favorite part is all the cuddling they give me. Just see for yourself.

4 February 2006

  • Hey...I'm a COUSIN! Here I am with my Daddy in our 'Cousins' T-Shirts...too cute! I can't wait to meet all my Cousins, especially Aunt Beth & Uncle Matt's uncoming baby (affectionately refered to as "Cleatus-the-Fetus"). Maybe everyone will chip in and get Cleatus a little Cousin's ones-ey. I want to call him 'Cleatus'....Boy or Girl!

  • I'm also excited about meeting all my newborn homies: Naomi Hills, Ella Sue Todd, and the inspiration for this web-page, Grinnin Barrit Chambers (he's too cute)

  • That's all for now, toime for night-night :)
