Spring is in the air

Folks, the weather has been nice, the flowers are in bloom and the butterflies are everywhere.  I am diggin' it.

...and so is Will.

This is the royal empress tree we planted the week Will was born.  It is supposed to grow 10-20 feet this year.  We'll keep you posted!

A day late and a dollar short.....

Will is officially ONE!!!!!

I can't believe how the time has flown. I have had my very own little brother for one whole year. Folks, let me tell you - this kid is into EVERYTHING. That means all of my "projects" are ruined in seconds.  So as of late, I'm not really a fan of the big sister gig, but I'll cut him some slack on his birthday. He's been cutting a lot of teeth lately, so he deserves a break.

Let me tell you about my brother.  

He likes to slide.

He likes to yell.

He likes to stand by himself.  

He likes to think he's as strong as a superhero.

....and he likes to play with his new big boy birthday toys.

I got him this super cool dinosaur.  I like it so much that I haven't stopped playing with it yet.

As for Will's birthday dinner, this is the best shot we have.

He hated his bib. (as he does all bibs)

...didn't care for his dinner.

....and was equally excited about his cake.

Thank goodness for that slide.
